December 28th, 2008
Christmas has came and gone, and its time to update the page with my news. Think of it as my christmas letter to you all. I hit a deer with my truck back in early November and had to replace the front end. With my friend Matt's help, we got it all back together and it's working again. For Christmas I got a ton of games for my 360, Fallout 3 and Crysis for PC, a Rock Band 2 guitar, wireless headset, and a 1TB HD which I've already put in and changed the Rig page to reflect on such. I've graduated from UK in May, but still haven't gotten a job... and that's... pretty much all that's going on over here.
April 17th, 2008 Its the week before dead week and I'm currently looking at graduation gift ideas. I'm told my sister got a treadmill, so I'm looking at things that may be equal in value... of course, when you don't know how much one is worth it's hard to do. I was told, however, its around 500-600. After thinking about it for a while, I came up with this idea: 32" 720p LCD HD-TV. I think it's a pretty solid TV (for the price) and will make playing games on my 360 and watching DVDs way better than the dying 27" we have now to watch DVD's and 19" with only RF input for 360 games. Be nice to have stereo sound and component inputs for once in our household. Of course, those who know a bit about HDTV buying are going to be like "It's contrast is too low" and "it doesn't have 1080p!", but adding those features into the TV causes the price to rise QUICKLY.
April 2nd, 2008 After an 30 month wait (wow...), I've finally updated this website. I've moved from freeservers to t35 b/c of the considerably fewer ads on here, plus it allows for FTPing so I can edit and upload files directly from inside Dreamweaver, which is nice. I'm working on updating pages and I'll try to update the (b)log more often. We'll see what happens though.
October 13th, 2005 My birthday has come and gone. Pretty good one, I'd say. My parents came up and we, along with my sister, went to O'Charlies. For my b-day present, they got me a new video card, a XFX 256mb 6600GT. Not the best of course, but it was only 190 and a signifigant boost in performance over my old 64mb GeForce 3. Its sweeet. Also went home last weekend. Was mostly at the Todd's, playing video games with Matt, though I had done other things. The computer was still at campus, so it wasn't like there was much for me to do at home.
September 5th, 2005 My birthday is less than 2 weeks away and I'd though I'd give you an update. School is back in session at UK, and my classes are all boring, hard, and with the exception of GEO160, compeltely lacking any eyecandy. Its going to be a long year. I updated my rig page a bit, enjoy. Doubt you'll even notice the changes though. Also made one small change in my projects page, once again--unoticable.
May 25th, 2005 Well, its beyond time to update. School has been over for nearly a month and I'm on summer break. Right now trying to earn some money so I can do some things to my truck and play paintball (wish I could make enough to get a new computer, but lets be realistic). Recently my CPU died and I had to replace it. That has been done and the rig page has been updated to reflect this change. I also got a new computer desk, and you can see that there as well. I did not get a new chair though, which is a shame. Also, Red Vs Blue's 3rd Season is over. What a shame, of course they're making a 4th one.. so its not like its a huge loss, just an unsettling wait.
March 22rd, 2005
I was told to update my site.... so I will. Spring break was last week, and its already over. Its back to the books. *sigh* We got to play paintball Saturday before I came back. I told everyone to make sure their markers work b/c I didn't want to work on their shit when I got there... irony was my gun didn't work... I ended up renting a tippmann 98 custom, and I must say I loved it. With some good paint, it shot great. We had some fun that day, but not all from just the paintball experience. What else... Oh, well, I got an XFire account, I'm "gcountach". Add me, bitches. I also added that thing at top to track my gaming habits. You'll find them to be quite pathetic. Yep, so... thats about it... C ya.
Janruary 23rd, 2005 Well, happy news years, Merry Christmas, happy thanksgiving, and what not. RedVsBlue is now at episode 47 and still funny. As for me, not so much. I've lost my luster, my charm. I'm now just boring. Thats college for ya, it makes you boring. Speaking of College, I'm now at UK (University of Kentucky, not England). Its different. Guess I could tell ya what I got for Christmas. Lets see, I got a 160gig HD, 16x DVD+/-RW, games, and thats about it. I got some pictures of my dorm room, but I forgot to bring the cord that connects the camera to the computer, so I can't upload them. I forget things, lots of things.
October 27th, 2004 What about them DVD-ROM games? For the answer, head on over to my rant page. So yeah, I'm not dead afterall. Far from it. I'm quite alive. But I'm bored and I've become addicted to The Sims 2. Addicting game. Avoid it like the plague for it is the plague! What else.... I also waxed my truck two days ago... it was nice and shiney til it rained. Raining makes my truck dirty while it cleans everyone elses, go figure. Tomorrow I'm hoping to replace the PCV Valve, air filter, oil filter, and oil. A good ole maintance day! Perhaps, weather permitting, I'll vaccum it out too. It kinda needs it afterall. Also, if you haven't been to RedVsBlue.com yet, go now... NOW! Oh, and I got a digital camera. A Tosbhia PDR-3000 (3.2 megapxiels) and it makes WAY better pictures than the one I had been using, so expect all my photos to be updated with newer (and higher quality) photos.
September 7th, 2004 There are ONLY 11 days left before my birthday. If you were wondering what I want, I like cash... and German-Engineered cars, save VW... they are just cheap. Or candy, for you cheapos... mail it all to 123 I'm not getting anything Ave, okay? And don't feel bad... I'm not buying you anything either, call it square! Anywho, I updated the rant page on something that annoys me, like all rants are. I also got a new camera, 3.2 megapixel Toshbia PDR-3300, so I can take pictures of stuff now easier.. okay doke. Oh, incase you were wondering, school is still bogging me down. Calculus isn't fun, but Survey of western lit is just plain cruel and unusual punishment.
August 15th, 2004 I updated my rant page to blow off some steam. School sucks. Calculus I at 9am in the morning hurts your brain just as much as you think it would. Reading Gilgamesh is just as fun as self-mutalation. I find more of my friends in the parking lot than in my classes.
August 7th, 2004
Well, today I went to get my books for college... yay! I also updated this page again. yay! Oh, and I updated my rig page with new scores. It appears that all this time my bios clocked my CPU at the 1.1ghz range, when a 1800+ actually runs at 1.533ghz. I changed it to that, and now the scores are higher. All of them except the hard drive score on PCMark2002. It actually went DOWN 100pts. Doesn't make sense. I also had to miss a LAN party at Jeff's house last night, as I had to get those books. But we plan to do another one around fall break. I think I can wait that long (Novemberish).
August 5th, 2004 Well, school is about to start. Less than a week :-\. I guess there are worse things to have to do, but that doesn't make me hate school any less. Anywho, I think I fixed the links to the bigger pictures of my rig. Feel free to check it out and see.
July 16th, 2004 Well, thats odd. I could of sworm I updated this site. I mean, I know I don't update much, but come on. Its been 7 months. I did some small things to the page, I know. I guess I forgot to update the news to tell ya that. *shrugs* Lot of stuff has happened, nothing to me though. Basicly the only reason for the news update is to update my rig specs. My old monitor crapped out. Its weird, but yeah, it doesn't work anymore.
December 20th, 2003
Well, time for an update. Kris, Jeff, and I (Tom for one day even) had the 2nd annual whenever the hell we can manage to fit it in LAN party. Instead of like last time, where we had only Swat 3 and Rise of Nations, we had over 12 games, including mods and map mapacks and stuff, to play. The big hitter of the LAN was Unreal Tournament 2003, as it was the only game we fired up more than once. I tell ya, the waste em! Rant page is updated. Shecduling for next semester is done, and Christmas is near. The world is in order.
October 13th, 2003 I updated my rig page to reflect my recent changes to my computer. I bought an 80gig HD and after a lot of bitching (lets just say, an Asus A7v333 doesn't seem to like big hard drives) I got it up and running. So now I have 133 gigs of porn educational applications. No, seriously, it's just so I can install more games at their full install and not have to worry about running out of the space. Honest. Who could even have 133 gigs of porn? That's a lot of stuff.
September 1st, 2003 I updated the webpage again. While I did a lot of work on it in April, it never got posted til now. Then I found much of it to be out of date, so I had to update it. Now its all good.
April 25th, 2003 I updated my RANT page so that I could vent my anger that is caused by the ignorant population of America. Infact, I've updated quite a lot of things on this page. See if you can notice. In my life news, I'm going to prom (May 10th) with one of my friends. I never knew how much Prom actually costs. It's ungodly! I also made this page the default home. If you still want to see my intro, go here. I don't see why you would though...
March 19th, 2003 I added a counter starting today. If you want a counter that gives you day by day coverage of when GTA:VC will come out for PC, then check out Gamers+'s homepage.
March 8th, 2003
Today was great. It was 68 degrees, sunny with just a light wind, and absolutely great. To celebrate the occasion, I first washed my truck, then took pictures of it (you can see them here), and then updated this page. Mainly all I have done is deleted the last new bit because it was getting a little long for my taste, made the scrollbar on the right blend-in to the website, and ran the entire site through a spellchecker. Boo-yah. On a lighter note, I've just now noticed there is more information and content about my computer than there is about me. Go figure...
January 22nd, 2003
Just fixing a few problems, updating my ram count. Aside from that, we have been getting a lot of snow this school year and it really sucks. I hate snow. I hate school. I hate having to go to school, which I hate, when it's nice outside b/c of the snow, which I also hate, when it was sucky outside.
January 9th, 2003
Well, I still haven't updated the site, so I thought I would. *yawn!* It's been boring. Christmas came and gone, new years was just another night for me, Military Ball is this weekend and I'm going to be home, sadly. I think my life is pretty pathetic. Ah well, not much I can do about it.
December 12th, 2002
Holy crap, I updated? I guess I did! Wow. This is unreal. Ta ta!
November 13th, 2002
This site is quickly growing. Many of the pages are done and even subpages in those pages are being formed. You got to read to find them though, or at least be able to distinguish between red and blue coloring...
November 11th, 2002
The site is slowing going together. I've got a lot of things I need to work on, such as what to do for the logo and what fancy things I can do with the menu to start with. I also need to work on making the site look good, even on smaller monitors (this will be optimized for 1024x768 though).
